Shipping
costs & general information:
Postage/shipping is from £2.50 for UK, £2.75
for EU orders and from £3.00 for International
orders.
The
shipping costs in the shopping cart are usually correct,
but for larger or bulky items it will only show an approximation
of the cost of shipping. Costs vary according to the
weight and volume of the items. In
the unlikely event that the actual shipping costs work
out more than shown in the cart you will be contacted
before the item is shipped.
For
most items we use Royal Mail first class post, which
is normally next day delivery after shipping. For large
items like boxes we try and keep the postage rate down
by using whichever Royal Mail delivery option is cheapest.
Depending on the weight this may still be first class
post, but may be Standard Parcel post which can take
3-5 days in shipping. If you require a large package
to be shipped with the quickest way possible, please
contact us and we will advise with the revised postage.
Overseas orders are sent air-mail.
We
still offer a next day delivery service. But please
note that this is the Royal Mail Special Delivery service
and is next day delivery from despatch of order, not
from receipt of order. If you require something in a
hurry, please e-mail and we will see what we can do
to get it out quickly.
Our
postage price has recently increased (as the Post Office
has made yet another increase in their prices). For
higher valued items this will be a signed for delivery
and someone will need to be in to accept the package.
Shipping
International:
We
do ship internationally. Postage and shipping is from
£2.75 for EU and £3.00 International.
You
can pay with a credit or debit card or by Paypal. Just
place your order and your card company will convert
the transaction into your own currency. Please note
that import duties and taxes where applicable are the
responsibility of the purchaser.
Due
to a high level of fraud and packages going missing,
there are certain countries we are unable to ship to,
these include the following: Chile,
Egypt, Georgia, Ghana, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan,
Peru, Romania, Serbia, Thailand, Venezuela, Yugoslavia.
Other countries may be added to the list at our discretion.

Purchasing
Information:
Minimum
order: Due to increase in processing and admin costs
we have a minimum order of £5.00 excluding postage
and packaging charges. If you wish to place a lower
order than this, it can be accepted with a cheque only,
there will also be a low order fee of £1.00. Please
e-mail for details.
Browse
through the on-line store and add items you wish to
purchase into the shopping cart. When you are finished
click on 'shopping cart' and continue to the checkout
where you will be asked for all the necessary details
to complete the order. Please note that many of the
items are unique creations and it will not be possible
to purchase more than one of that item.
Payment
can be made using a credit or debit card, cheque or
postal order or through Paypal.
Credit
cards on secure server:
We accept the following credit and debit cards;
Visa, Mastercard, Delta, Switch, Solo, Electron and
Maestro. Card details should be entered during the checkout
process and are processed on a secure server.

Alternatively
you can place your order and complete your payment by
calling us with your card details. Please call Monday-Friday
9am-5pm GMT on 01202-631883.
For international sales,
place your order and your card company will convert
the transaction into your own currency.
For Paypal:
Place your order as normal and then click on Paypal
for payment method. When your order is ready for despatch
you will be invoiced through Paypal for your payment
- that way you can see any adjustment to the cost before
payment is made. Once payment is received your package
will be despatched.
Cheques
or Postal Orders:
We only accept cheques drawn on a UK bank and Postal
Orders bought from a UK Postal Office in Pounds Sterling.
Place your order online and select 'cheque' or 'postal
order' under the payment options. You will receive details
of where to send your cheque or postal order in a confirmation
e-mail. Your order will be despatched once the cheque
has cleared.

Please
note we do not have a physical shop to accept visitors
except by prior arrangements. We operate by mail order,
telephone or from craft and gift shows.
We do not add VAT (Value Added Tax) to orders or any
other sales tax.
Despatch:
Despatch is aimed to be within 7 working days of the
receipt of payment, but this may be longer at busier
times of the trading year. We usually manage much better
than that - average turnaround is 24-48 hours. If an
order is urgent, please inform us and we will try to
hurry your order out to you. If goods are out of stock
you will be informed and your payment will be adjusted
accordingly.
Returns:
Occasionally mistakes happen, if you have any queries
or problems, please do let us know and we will try to
help. In the unlikely event that goods are faulty, you
should notify us by letter or e-mail within seven days
of delivery. These goods will be replaced free-of-charge,
or a full refund issued. The goods must be returned
to us. Please obtain a certificate of posting.
Cancellation:
Under no circumstance am I able to accept the return
of earrings for pierced ears in compliance with current
Health & Hygiene regulations.
You have the right to cancel the order* at any
time up to the end of 7 working days after you receive
the goods. If you wish to cancel the order, you must
give notice by letter or e-mail. If you cancel the order
after delivery, you must return the goods to us in new
and unused condition at your own expense. You must take
reasonable care to ensure that the goods are not damaged
in the meantime or in transit. We are unable to refund
any shipping charges, unless the item is faulty or sent
in error. We will issue a refund, if you cancel and
return the order within 30 days of cancellation. If
you do not return the goods as required, we may charge
you a sum not exceeding the direct costs of recovering
the goods. You must obtain a certificate of posting
for return of the goods.
*
Earrings, ear studs, ear fittings and piercings for
the body are exempt from cancellation under the distance
selling regulations as they are items that cannot be
used by anyone else for hygiene reasons, and therefore
cannot be returned to us if you change your mind or
don't like them.
Extras:
All earrings for pierced ears are made from sterling
silver.
Plated
earscrews or clips are also available. Most earrings
can also be converted at no extra charge on request.
Clips or earscrews are also available to purchase separately.
Vermeil is gold plating over the top of a sterling
silver base - these give a gold colour, but without
the cost of a completely gold fitting. Gold filled,
or vermeil ear hooks will be a slight additional cost.

If you wish for a different ear fitting to the one described
on the website please ask.
If
you require any of these alternative ear-fitting please
e-mail or add your requirements in the 'your comments'
box at checkout. If there is any adjustment in final
price to your order you will be contacted before the
order is processed.
